We had a nice romantic... I mean a nice family Valentine's Day dinner at home this evening;-) We got out our special china dishes and nice glasses and enjoyed being a family who loves one another. Bob and the kids had a little dance afterwards to some Michael Buble. It was a fantastic Valentine's Day for the Akers Crew!!!

Hello! We are Bob and Trish Akers from Indiana. We are in the process of adopting a daughter, Emmaline Catherine, from China. We have a log in date of December 8, 2005, and are hoping to get our "referral" in November 2007. It's been a long journey, but we are so excited to be this close! ****************************************************************** Update: We have obviously adopted our daughter, so this is now the Akers Family website. I have thoroughly enjoyed your "Journey to Emmaline Catherine" blog. Your mom and dad told me about this spot before you went to China to get Emma. What a beautiful family you have---not only Emma, but your two sons as well. Congratulations to a loving family!
