Hello! We are Bob and Trish Akers from Indiana. We are in the process of adopting a daughter, Emmaline Catherine, from China. We have a log in date of December 8, 2005, and are hoping to get our "referral" in November 2007. It's been a long journey, but we are so excited to be this close! ****************************************************************** Update: We have obviously adopted our daughter, so this is now the Akers Family website. Grammy's birthday!!!
Well, a lot has happened since I last posted. Mom was in town for a visit and we celebrated her birthday. She got her own pair of Ugg boots! Her visit was cut short because Aunt Crystal is still so very very sick from pneumonia.
Mom had to go home to help Terry care for her. Please keep Crystal in your prayers as she still has a long road ahead of recovery. We are still praying she does not have to have surgery. The good news, is she is still able to graduate as planned, but the bad news is she is so weak it is day by day right now if she will be strong enough.
