The first picture shows Emmaline's arm from all the blood work she had last week. You cannot see her other arms which looks just like the one I took the photo of...poor princess! The rest of the pictures are of Emmaline playing with the dolly Aunt Party gave to Emmaline. She absolutely loves the baby, and we think it is absolutely adorable! On the home front, daddy is back to work and we are trying to get used to the routine of only one parent home for 11 month old and a 3 year old. Lot's of fun when they both need attention ;-) In other words, life is great and I am truly blessed to be home and enjoying this time with my family.

Hello! We are Bob and Trish Akers from Indiana. We are in the process of adopting a daughter, Emmaline Catherine, from China. We have a log in date of December 8, 2005, and are hoping to get our "referral" in November 2007. It's been a long journey, but we are so excited to be this close! ****************************************************************** Update: We have obviously adopted our daughter, so this is now the Akers Family website. We will periodically be posting pictures of our family and newest adventures.
