The rumor mill is saying the cut off date is our date, 12/8/05! What that means, if it turns out to be true, is we JUST made it in this referral batch!!! We are hoping to get confirmation soon, and we are on pins and needles waiting for information. We think we are so close to seeing Emmaline's face for the first time. Thank you for your prayers and support. We could not have made it thru this agonizing wait without our friends and family!

Hello! We are Bob and Trish Akers from Indiana. We are in the process of adopting a daughter, Emmaline Catherine, from China. We have a log in date of December 8, 2005, and are hoping to get our "referral" in November 2007. Is this the week??!!???
We received an email from our agency on Friday saying they "know referrals are anticipated to arrive this week..." They do not know the cut off date yet. There are several rumors out there saying people whose log in dates are between 12/1/05 and 12/12/05 will be included in the November batch of referrals. The magic number for our family is 12/8/05. We feel fairly confident we will be included and we are going crazy with excitement, anticipation, worry, etc. Please keep us in your prayers this week, as it is sure to be a LONG one while we wait for news. We'll keep the blog updated and we will post pictures of Emmaline if we get the call.
